We are inviting churches from every denomination, stream, and tradition, to unite and work closely together to strengthen the church and share the Good News across Dorset. We believe this is a pivotal moment for the Church across the region.

As we look ahead to a season of united intentional outreach, we’re inviting churches of all sizes and traditions to stand together in sharing the hope of the Gospel.

Light Up Dorset is more than an event - it’s a movement of prayer, service, and proclamation across our communities. By partnering with us, your church can play a vital role in reaching people with the love of Jesus, equipping your congregation with confidence, and building lasting relationships that continue well beyond the festival.

Will you partner with us…

Join us in PRAYING for every street in every community – sign-up to the prayer app and join a movement of prayers across the region and begin praying for your street today and covering the region in prayer.

Join us in SHARING Light Up Dorset in your church and with your networks – we hope that everyone will get involved and be part of the united Church transforming our communities.

Join us in GIVING towards this Kingdom Mission in reaching the region with the love of Jesus – we need the local church to come together and sow into Light Up Dorset.

Join us in MOBILISING your local church – everyone, every church, can play their part and use their gifts and talents to serve Light Up Dorset.

Partner with us and join a growing number of churches stepping forward in unity and mission. Together, we can see lives transformed and our region impacted in a powerful way.

Churches across Dorset are uniting for a county-wide mission in 2027. In partnership with Palau UK&Europe, congregations will be equipped with Gospel confidence through evangelism training before stepping into a focused month of mission and invitation across Dorset. This will lead to a free, family-friendly festival for the whole community — filled with live music, DJs, extreme sports and a clear message of hope as Andrew Palau shares the good news of Jesus.

We are inviting you to become a partner church and join in.

How your church can be involved

Prayer – Be a part of the united prayer effort with a strategy to cover the region in prayer.

Service – Join with other churches and organisations to identify areas of need and practically serve to see people reached in word and deed.

Training – Encourage your congregation to go through the training that will be provided to aid Gospel confidence when speaking to the people we care about the most if in life.

Promote – Your church can play a key role in raising the awareness of the festival and all the activities around it.

Give – Consider giving from your church budget or hold a special offering for the festival.

Proclaim the Gospel – During the run-up to the festival there will be outreach events and gatherings that your church can attend and invite others to. The festival itself will be a free event for the whole community including a family fun zone, action sports, and main stage programme with well-known artists and the Gospel presented to all.

Volunteer – All churches are encouraged to not just be spectators, but participants of what God is doing through the festival. One way to do this is by encouraging your congregation to get involved by volunteering for the various elements of the festival.

Follow up – Help the people who respond to the Gospel at the festival to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Church Rep – Appoint a volunteer to receive information and champion Light Up Dorset in your church through notices and social media.

Beyond the Festival – Consider the opportunities to build upon the renewed unity of the Church, and the relationships created within the community.

With bold outreach, everyday faithfulness, and selfless service on an unprecedented scale, we believe God will transform lives across the region as the Church rises to love its neighbours.  Join the growing number of churches who are partnering to reach Dorset with the Gospel

Please ensure that the person completing the form has the relevant authority from your church to indicate your partnership with the festival.
